Scott Metzger

Scott started his career with an emphasis on sculpting and painting in art school. The geometric hair designs by Vidal Sassoon in the 60's caught Scott's attention and paved the way for his decision to learn hair sculpting by the master himself. Scott worked in Toronto, Canada; London, England; Beverly Hills and San Francisco, where he became the Art Director for Vidal Sassoon.

Scott has experienced four decades in the hair industry as an educator, salon owner, editorial and platform artist. Scott's zen approach to hair is appreciated by many celebrities and designers who trust him with their image and privacy. Scott's designs have appeared on numerous television shows and publications, including the covers of People and Rolling Stone.

Clients come to Scott for his attention to detail, and his endless repertoire in cutting techniques. Scott's philosophy is that hair should be current, flattering and easy to manage. Most haircuts don't even need a brush. A finished look can be achieved by the cut alone. Each of Scott's clients have an individual design that is never rushed. Perfection takes time; it is quality not quantity that counts. A great haircut will look good and hold the shape as it grows.

Ed Metzger, Master Stylist and Educator

Ed Metzger became interested in the pure artistry of cutting hair from watching his brother, Scott. After years of working with Scott, Ed decided to spread his wings and open a salon, Tekogi. Ed has now been in the business since 1986 and after having his own salon for 15 years, decided to rejoin Scott at Full Circle Studio to help the team build Scott Metzger Systems Advanced Academy and work with his loyal clientele.

Ed has been instrumental in teaching many staff members and stylists across North America and enjoys sharing knowledge. Ed’s quote, “you learn when you teach so it becomes full circle.”

Besides being an artist in hair, Ed had his first gallery showing in late spring of 2009 of his pen and ink drawings. We are now displaying pieces of Ed's work in the salon and are thrilled that another form of his artistry received recognition.

Margot Hughes, Master Colorist, Color Educator, Hair Designer

Margot began her career in Columbus, OH in an extensive internship program; quickly realizing her passion and talent for haircoloring, she decided to pursue the best education. Margot is now a Certified Schwarzkopf Master Colorist and Color Educator, and is in high demand for both.

Scott Metzger was looking for an accomplished colorist who would fit into his studio concept, and Margot knew that this would be a bold next step in furthering her career.

Margot's philosophy is that color can be used in creative ways to give depth, dimension and shine to the hair design. "You should feel confident and beautiful when leaving the studio, and the communication between client and colorist is all-important to attaining a solid, trusting relationship."

Margot is also certified in hair extensions.

Gene Belikov, Master Stylist, Educator, Colorist

Gene Belikov wanted to take his talent as a stylist to a higher level, so he made the decision to apprentice with Scott Metzger. Gene
has now worked with Scott for ten years, during which time he also experienced working in Tel Aviv and Chicago. Gene, now a Master Stylist is rooted in Cleveland with Full Circle Studio and is enjoying being back where he feels at home.

Clients love Gene’s quiet professionalism and good manners that is
so rare these days. Gene has a European flair for fashion and is a music lover which is a must at Full Circle Studio.

Gene loves his profession and his work with models has stretched
the entire media; magazines, television and fashion shows.

Angie Brindisi, Master Stylist, Colorist

Angie Brindisi had an extensive career as a stylist when she came
to Full Circle Studio to learn Scott Metzger's Advanced Cutting Techniques. Angie spent months honing her skills and was so
inspired with her experience that she wanted to join us as a
team member.
